THIS COMMUNICATION DOES NOT APPLY TO DISTANCE STUDENTS, IT ONLY APPLIES TO FULL TIME STUDENTS WHO ARE REGISTERED TO A CAMPUS
Dear Students and Staff,
Following our last communicate #10 regarding calendar dates and assessments for this semester, we would like to congratulate our students on their commitment to studies over this challenging time and well done to our faculty for keeping teaching on track. For now, let us enjoy the benefits of exercising any time during lock-down level 3 and look forward to seeing each other after the mid-year break. Our last day of learning online is Friday 12th June and we will see some of you on campus on Monday 29th June.
We really want to ensure our preparations for your safe return and under Level 3 lock-down regulations, we can only allow 33% of our students on campus at any one time. So, all students will receive communications from their campus manager about the phasing in of students and their classes from Monday 29 June. Social distancing must be maintained and there will be strict hygiene protocols that have to be followed when on campus. Everyone will be provided with two eta face masks and all students and staff will be required to go through an online screening each day, before entering campus. Your campus manager will be sending you details about the Higher Health Screening App that you will log into each day to determine if you can come to classes.
For now, finish your semester studies and ongoing assessment, and if any student has struggled to get online or to keep up with studies, then speak with your faculty member about help with catching up. Then, let’s enjoy the June break and we will see you for second semester on 29th June.
