Whether you work with children, the weekend warrior or a pro athlete, the Certified Strength Coach (CSC) programme will help you develop theknowledge and skills to effectively enhance human performance. Recognisedby high school, college, and professional organisations as well as health clubsthe CSC credential is nationally accredited by the highest standard in theindustry.

The NCSF Certified Strength Coach programme is an approved continued education (8 CEU / 20 CPD) for Certified Trainers. The course has both theoretical & practical elements.

This course is for those wishing to become recognised as a strength and conditioning expert with the recommended credentials

  • How to perform biomechanical and athlete-needs analysis
  • High-level strength attainment using advanced strength techniques
  • Ballistic Training Instruction including Olympic weightlifting and Plyometrics
  • How to develop Speed, Agility and Reactive Strength
  • Advanced programming for performance in each sport
  • Corrective exercises, risk reduction and efficient body movement
  • High-level instruction in strength training for performance
  • Olympic weightlifting and power-based training instruction
  • Applications for Change of Direction, Quickness, and Speed
  • Drill instruction and strategies used by elite coaches

You need a minimum of 40% in their home language, and 50% in four other subjects when completing their NSC. Alternatively via one of our other programmes (please contact the campus for more options).
