The Power of RPL
RPL (or recognition of prior learning) is reinventing the way we learn. In a world of
increasing regulation, the process of RPL caters for those “under qualified” sport
managers with years of experience. Individuals that are seeking an accredited
sport management qualification to add to their CV, need not look any further.
RPL candidates are exceptional professionals who have undergone extensive
experience within their field but have just never had the opportunity to access
an accredited qualification. The RPL process reduces the study time frame from
a year to as little as 5 months at a greatly reduced cost.
The entire process can be completed electronically online and provides quick
and affordable access to a qualification for the experienced sport manager.
Once accepted for RPL, a portfolio of evidence highlighting sport management
knowledge and experience is compiled and submitted for assessment. Upon
completion, the National Certificate in Sport Management (NQF Level 5) is
awarded.
