Application Rules

Application Tips

  1. The eta Admission Criteria should be read to ensure that you qualify for admission to your course of choice.
  2. Apply online here.
  3. Complete all information during application accurately.
  4. Acknowledgement and Declaration: Online applications are acknowledged and signed by a tick during application. Any online applications that are ticked as accepted are considered as signed.

Documents Required

  1. Certified copy of the applicant’s identity document.
  2. Certified copy of the identity document of the person paying the account.
  3. In the case of foreign applicants a certified copy of the passport as well as a valid visa and study permit is required. The study permit should state clearly that the applicant intends to study with eta. The validity period of the visa and permit should be the same (or exceed) the duration of the course.
  4. Certified Senior or School Leaving Certificate (Matric, NSC, GCSE) as issued by the relevant Education Department. A statement of results will be accepted for initial application.
  5. Any relevant disability or medical documents.
  6. Certified copies of certificates and results from any accredited industry related qualifications that you might have achieved in the past.

Payment rules for campus qualifications

  1. The registration fee (R1500) is non-refundable and is due upon conditional acceptance.
  2. The deposit is required to secure enrolment.
  3. The balance of tuition fees is due at the end of March (Academic year you enrolled for)
  4. Fees include Tuition, Assessment and eta pack.
  5. You can download a Payment Schedule for more details. Please note some regions may not offer all payment plans.
  6. If you register in advance, you can qualify for the Early Bird fees, payment is then due at the end of the December before your programme commences.

Payment rules for eta Online courses

  1. The deposit and tuition fees are due upon conditional acceptance.
  2. If you opt for a payment plan, only the first instalment is payable upon conditional acceptance.

  4. Fees include Tuition and Assessment.

Confirmation

  1. Once all required documentation is received, approved and the registration fee paid you will receive an e-mail of confirmation of registration and conditional acceptance.
  2. You will receive final confirmation of enrolment via e-mail once the required deposit is paid.
